Balayage

As opposed to standard highlighting methods which use foil or a cap, balayage is a freehand technique of painting color on your hair. We can amplify the hue to vary from a soft-wash to bright and bold depending on your personal preference. With the exception of very short-cropped hair, balayage works on a variety of hair lengths, textures and colors. The sun-kissed, natural look from an experienced balayage stylist is truly universal and flattering for all women. Additionally, the maintenance required is very low - often allowing clients to wait four months between treatments.

What to Expect from a Balayage Treatment

• Color accents that are lighter than your base color.
• Color accents which are more spread apart than traditional highlights. Accents from balayage are diffused at the roots and unfold into soft ribbons which mimic natural patterns you would obtain from sun exposure.
• As your hair grows, the line of demarcation will look softer than traditional highlights – allowing for longer periods between treatments.
• Lower maintenance than traditional highlights.
• Use of one or two colors to give the most natural look.
